GETTING STARTED
The ATELIER Art Program consists of 24 art lesson modules (DVD’s w/ lesson plans). We offer 3 modules (A, B, & C) for each of our 8 levels (8 levels cover ages 4-16). Each module includes 6 hands-on lessons on 1 DVD and 2 assessment/review lessons. Each level (A,B, & C) includes 18 hands-on lessons on 3 DVD's and 6 assessment/review lessons. The program may also be enhanced by adding a Art Print Kit (see below). You may choose to buy modules separately or you may order the modules together in a value pack. Each level teaches a comprehensive age appropriate curriculum and, taken as a whole, the levels comprise a fully-validated developmental – sequential program for the visual arts. We do recommend starting with the A module first, then moving to B and C.
The Parent’s Manual, Art Print Kits, and Basic Art Supply Kit are supplemental to the curriculum. The following are descriptions of these products:
The Parent’s Manual: Detailed methods, teaching aids, and instructions for parents (highly recommended 1-time purchase).
Art Print Kits: Great Art Appreciation Modules. Each Kit contains ten 8”x10” art prints with discussion guides, artist and artwork background, and curriculum connections.
Basic Art Supply Kit: Provides student’s basic supply requirements common to all modules.
